This is a Photo Mode still—not a 9:16 video cover. Export every slide at the same size as the first so the swipe height stays steady.

TikTok Photo Mode and multi-photo posts are swipe stacks of stills. Export each slide at 1080×1440 (3:4) so the set stays tall in the feed without pretending to be a full-screen vertical video. Pick the ratio on slide 1, then export every later frame from that same preset.
Photo Mode is not a video cover. Video and cover stills use 1080×1920 (9:16). Stretching a 9:16 frame into a photo set letterboxes or crops awkwardly. Re-crop for Photo Mode—or keep video covers on the video size page.
Already have an Instagram 4:5 carousel? You can keep an all-4:5 TikTok set at 1080×1350, or re-crop everything to 1080×1440. Mixed ratios punish the swipe—treat the post as one system.
UI chrome still eats the rim. Keep faces and on-image text inside the safe margin so captions and side buttons do not cover the hook. Need several social ratios from one camera file? Use the image size converter after you lock Photo Mode.
Same feed frame—keep the subject inside the margin phones actually show.
Tick these off against your crop preview—nothing is saved.
Similar-looking slots often use different ratios—do not reuse one export for all of them.

People often stop after slide 1. Make the cover carry the promise, keep middle slides one idea each, and end with a clear CTA—same margins so the set feels intentional.
A multi-photo story belongs here as matching 3:4 stills. A full-screen vertical belongs on the video size page as 1080×1920. Pick the surface before you design—then crop once for that job.
Export 1080×1440 per slide in sRGB—or all 1080×1350 if the whole set is 4:5. Keep titles inside the safe margin. Prefer a consistent naming scheme (01–10) before upload.
Upload each slide’s source, keep Photo Mode / multi-photo (1080×1440) selected—or Alternate 4:5 for an all-4:5 set—drag until the subject sits in the safe margin, then download. Repeat for the full set.

Avoid extra pinch-zoom in the TikTok editor if the crop is already final.
Preview the swipe on a phone; confirm height stays steady across slides.
If a title clips, enlarge it inside the margin and replace that slide.
For Photo Mode and multi-photo posts, use 1080×1440 (3:4). Use 1080×1350 (4:5) only if every slide in the set matches that ratio.
No. Photo Mode uses still ratios like 3:4. Video covers are 1080×1920 (9:16). Re-crop when you move a frame between them.
Yes—match every slide to the first slide’s aspect ratio. Mixed ratios cause jump cuts while people swipe.
Only if you keep the whole TikTok set at 4:5. Prefer re-cropping to 1080×1440 when you want the Photo Mode default habit.
